| Job Description |
- Develop, implement and follow up on a Plan of Care created for residents under the Ambassador Program. Manages staffs' time and performance.
- Appropriately interact with residents, responsible paries, family, friends, physicians, other related health care and non health care professionals, staff, visitors, vendors and Federal State and locla regulatory agencies in professional and couteous manner.
- Relay information regarding resident's health status as it relates to their safety and well-being to resident's physicians and any other appropriate party, as indicated.
- Relay information regarding staff's health status to appropriate parties as it relates to hiring and ongoing employment requirements as outlined by all current Federal, State and local regulations.
- Administer all required employee and offered resident immunizations as outlined by all Federal, State and local regulations.
- Order and maintain an adequate inventory of supplies in order to administer a Wellness Program.
- Assist with the coordination and maintenance of all employee medical files as it relates to hiring and ongoing employment as outlined by all current Federal, State and local regulations.
- Maintain a safe environment for residents/clients, employees, and visitors by taking immediate action to correct unsafe conditions (i.e., wipes up spills, moves obstructions, etc.), report broken or substandard equipment to supervisor immediately, remove broken equipment from service.
- Assist with the coordination and implementation of all required in-services for staff and residents as outlined by all Federal, State and local regulations.
- Assess/evaluate employees following an injury/accident; determine appropriate care, outline preventative measures and process of implementation.
- Prepares an annual budget.
- Practice Universal Precautions; practices safe and proper handling and disposal of all infected materials, equipment and linens and enforces staff compliance.
- Other duties as assigned by my supervisor, necessary for the efficient operation of the department/facility.

Experience and Skills
|
|
Education/Training/Certifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing; Masters Degree in Nursing preferred; Nursing License in NJ required; CPR required Skill(s): Time management; excellent verbal and written communication, active listening, and visual skills. Computer competencies in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Outlook, Internet and Intranet Experience: Two to three years experience as an RN and two to three years experience as a Supervisor and/or Wellness Director
